Remembering in Dane County

“Remembering in Dane County” was a series of programs that took place in the spring of 2008. Local Dane County writers read from their own reminiscence writings and were recorded by members of the Dane County Historical Society Board. These programs were attended by members of the Board, writers, and interested community members.

These recording programs took place in and around Dane County. At Crossroads Coffeehouse in Cross Plains, Oakwood Village West in Madison, the Waunakee Public Library, and Stoughton Area Senior Center.

As of July 2008, all of the recordings from the “Remembering in Dane County” project are now available to listen to online. For more information about the writers and to listen to their recordings, visit the Writers and Recordings page.
