A nine-member board of directors governs the Dane County Historical Society. The Board meets monthly, usually on the third Monday at 1:30 p.m., and the meeting typically lasts about two hours. Meetings usually occur at the Lussier Family Heritage Center, located in Lunney Lake Farm Park, which is south of the Beltline along the southern edge of Madison.
